We rung in the new year with Erik's brother, Scott, and Scott's fiance, Caitrin who came into town to celebrate Arlo's first birthday. We had such a great time with them, and were so happy they could be here for not only Arlo's birthday, but New Years Eve as well. Last night was most definitely the highlight of their visit, and involved many glasses of champagne and hard cider, a lot of laughter, and a competitive train game that had us up until after 2am. Arlo slept through the excitement of the ball dropping, but I am sure it is only a matter of time before he will want to stay up until midnight to ring in the New Year with us.
